Scene: My boys, talking at the breakfast table this morning.
Vincent (10): Michael came to school in a baseball uniform and wore it the whole day.
James (14): Why?
Vincent: He thought it was “wax museum day”. We were supposed to dress like the famous Ohioan we just wrote a report on. But we had a snow day on wax museum day, so it was cancelled.
James: So why did he wear his uniform if it was cancelled?
Vincent: I don’t know. The teacher sent out an email to all the parents telling them it was cancelled.
James: Parent FAIL.
I love this, why? Because it wasn’t me. Duh!
