All the stress of buying a new house and possibly carrying two mortgages has me feeling nauseous. Then I realized, Hey, wait a minute. The last time I felt nauseous like this I was pregnant! OMG! I’m pregnant!!?? Not now! I’m 46!! We’re in contract on a three bedroom! Now we need a four bedroom?? Getting pregnant was not a contingency!
Seriously. I’m nauseous, my period’s late and my boobs hurt. That never happens unless I’m pregnant.
So I take a pregnancy test and I video tape it while I’m waiting for the results. Being the sixth out of seven children, there are only photos of the first few kids and only one or two of the youngest. I want to film every part of this child’s life so it doesn’t feel overlooked and unimportant.
Readers, this is going to feel intimate because I filmed it in my bathroom. But I want you guys to be the first to know, to be there from the beginning. Like The Truman Show but less Hollywood. Oh, and I dyed my hair blonde.
